The well-known 'singer'’ Catalan Miguel Poveda will offer a concert at l’Abbaye de Neumünster (Luxembourg) in the framework of the cultural week Art, letters and music of Catalonia. It will be Monday 15 of October at two quarters of nine in the evening (20.30).
Accompanied by guitarist Chicuelo, this award-winning and recognized singer in Spain and everywhere will offer us a show in two parts. In the first, will offer a demonstration of the different arts of the flamenco singing, a specialty that this Badaloní master like few others.
The second part will be dedicated to his show thaw, Poveda's most ambitious project. The singer’ has put music to a tria, intimate i personal, of Catalan poems. As an accompaniment to the Catalan verses, flamenco fades and gives way to lyricism. The powerful and mutant voice of Poveda, by transplanting poets like Verdaguer to his Flemish land, Margaret, trash, Maria Mercè Marçal or Gabriel Ferrater, conveys a powerful emotion that will strike the viewer.
