'Jaume Roure

The title of Mr. Roure's lecture is sufficient clarification of the content: “Perpignan the Catalan utopia of the year 1993; Perpignan Capital of Catalan Culture 2008, a challenge assumed”. It will deal with various elements of interest: primer, the rediscovery of the Catalanity of the city in 1993. The rediscovery can be considered successful if we consider that the Faithful Villa is the Capital of Catalan Culture of the year 2008. This capital will be another important focus of Mr. Roure's conference.

Finally, a third important aspect of our guest's lecture, founding partner of The Cradle, will be the situation of Catalan in the Catalonia North. We remember that from May to July the French Parliament debated the situation of regional languages in France and the inclusion of these languages in the Constitution french.

At the end of the conference, a dinner will take place to discuss more calmly and in a more relaxed atmosphere those issues that require it. If you want to come for dinner, let us know. as you know, the capacity of the restaurants is limited.
