The XIX Cinema Series of the Catalan Center reaches its final stage. This week we will have two screenings and a special event: the visit of director Ramon Térmens.
Wednesday 13, at 21.30, Utopia cinema (16, avenue de la Faïencerie; Luxembourg Ville) will host the screening d’Open 24 hours, written and directed by Carles Torras. This film tells the story of Hector, a night watchman who takes care of his diminished brother, who strives every day to escape an oppressive universe. toast, who visited us in the summer to present Trash, his previous work, has garnered rave reviews for this new work, personal and courageous film nominated for several Gaudí awards.
Thursday 16, at the same time and in the same cinema, we can see Catalunya about everything in the company of its director, Ramon Térmens. This young director became known with young people (precisely co-directed with Carles Torras) and has signed an impact work like Black Buenos Aires. The recently released Catalunya about everything it's a film with three parallel stories that end up being one and chilling. In this fiction, Térmens composes a vitriolic portrait of an interior Catalonia where tolerance becomes a meaningless word. We will have the opportunity to talk to him personally.
Congratulations on the Festival once again.
Another thing is the bombardment of emails to which you have subjected us..
I take this opportunity to ask that you remove me from childhood meiling, we don't have children.
Thanks again for the cinema.
