Josep Blanche, born in Gualba (Barcelona) l’any 1950. As a young man, he began his artistic training at the Municipal School of Fine Arts in Girona. He completed his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona Llotja. Learn artistic jewelry techniques at the College of Jewelers of Catalonia, as well as at the Barcelona School of Arts and Crafts. During his training, he also attends the Escola de Belles Arts de Lleida for a few months. Finished his time at the Fine Arts schools, he spends a few years studying the technique of ceramics in the Juan Lozano workshops in Esparraguera, Graupera de Breda and in different workshops in Bisbal.
As special recognitions, would highlight the commemorative silver medal in the oil painting competition of the Centenary of the Royal Artistic Circle of Barcelona.
At present, his creations are oriented towards acrylic paints and collage, and incorporates in his works the different techniques used for more than 30 years of professional experience in the world of art and new innovative methodologies such as painting with wine or coffee.
Among numerous exhibitions and works, the ones he has made in the national territory and in France stand out.
