Description
CIRCLES is a collection of six narratives set in different periods and geographical locations, that they have, especially the first five, a common link: intolerance. This scourge that scourges humanity, whether for reasons of religion—the persecution of the Cathars, the pogroms against the Jews, the expulsion of the Moors, etc.—, whether for other reasons—ideological or generational differences—, it does not allow us to value or accept difference as a source of personal enrichment and, However, it causes us fear. This fear that, when it is based on irrationality, generates violence. The last narrative, very different from the rest, it transports us to an everyday world, of small tragedies and strong feelings; at the same time that it shows us that life is a great circle that gradually widens until youth and, then, begins to shrink again, faster and faster, and inexorably approaches its beginning: in other words that is, at death.
