BIOGRAPHY AUTHOR Francesca Spanish Bertran (Villallonga del Field, 1956) She is a full professor at the University of Barcelona. He works preferably on medieval art. published: «Gothic art I» (1991), "Romanesque religious architecture in the Conca de Barberà and Segarra Tarragona" (1991), "Guillem Seguer de Montblanc. A three-centrist teacher, painter and architect" (1994), «The sculptor Bartomeu de Robio and Lleida, an echo of Tuscan plastic art in Catalonia» (1994). Has works on iconography, history of mentalities or Romanesque and Gothic architecture and sculpture. He has co-directed the "Catalog of Medieval Sculpture and Painting of the Frederic Marès Museum in Barcelona" (1991) and has curated several exhibitions.
