Description
A Catalan couple of survivors of the generation of the 68 moves to Miami to try to save an old friend from a danger that seems imminent. Based on this trip and the investigations surrounding a mysterious CIA agent, Julià de Jòdar takes an x-ray of a world in crisis, of a petulant and cowardly Catalan society and of a generation that wanted to change the world and did not dare to do so. The novel establishes a game of mirrors between two generous women, two couples loaded with secrets and two societies that face the world in a very different way. The Catalan pastoral is an absolutely contemporary novel, the lucid testimony of a vulnerable society and an uncertain present, where almost nothing is what it seems. See video.
