To end the hyperactive cultural week of October, the Catalan Center of Luxembourg proposes a music and poetry show that will take place on the stage of l’Abbaye de Neumünster. It will start at six o'clock in the afternoon and will put a worthy final point a “Arts, letters and music of Catalonia” because it combines all the elements that make up this title.
The officiants will be the poets Valentí Gómez and Marga Clark, who already visited Luxembourg during the month of March on the occasion of Spring of Poets. The success of the previous presence in the European capital of culture of this 2007 has invited them to carry out, this time, a more complete show. It is about Poem Suite (muse & elf), a recital in Catalan and Spanish structured around the theme of the four elements (water, aire, terra, foc). To allow guests not to lose the thread, all attendees will receive a brochure with French translations of the texts that will be recited.
To complete the ensemble and the artistic proposal, the musician André Mergenthaler, passionate performer of various instruments, will space the poetic interventions with musical interludes. Mergenthaler, a prestigious musician who shone with his own light in the last edition of Printemps des poètes (and, among so many poets, achieving it was not easy), has agreed to accompany the two poets for a special night.
