In the marc of the Echternach international festival, Jordi Savall, one of the most international Catalan musicians, will offer a concert at the Trifolion of this city. The event will take place on Saturday 30 May, at 20.00. The line-up on stage will be Hespèrion XXI, which is composed by Michael Behringer (harpsichord) i Xavier Díaz-Latorre (zither and theorba), in addition to Savall himself (viola de gamba).
Composer and instrumentalist of recognized international prestige, especially in the field of early and baroque music, Jordi Savall is a regular in the Luxembourg halls. He has been awarded several prizes in Catalonia, Spain, France, Belgium and Austria. He has recorded more than 100 records and composed the soundtrack of some renowned films (per example, the most celebrated All the mornings in the world).
