Friday 1 April opens a weekend full of poetry in Luxembourg. In other words that is, begins Printemps Des Poetes. This event has been held for more than twenty years in the French-speaking countries of the world. Luxembourg celebrates its sixth edition this year. The Catalan Center collaborates with the participation of the great poet Narcís Comadira.
In order to get off to a good start, we propose a poetic dinner at the Centre's headquarters (88, Rue de la Semois; Luxembourg Ville). The program will consist of a dinner, sponsored by the Spanish Embassy in Luxembourg, which will be followed by the reading of poems by two participants in Printemps: Narcís Comadira and Vicente Cervera (also invited by the Embassy).
Narcís Comadira is a poet, playwright, painter and translator. His lyrics, through classical forms, tend towards contemplation, reflection and irony. He has published twenty titles and won prestigious awards such as the Serra d'Or, the Golden Letter and the City of Barcelona. His verses have been translated into several languages, per example, in french. His pictorial work, on the other band, has been the protagonist of numerous exhibitions.
