Wednesday 6 In March, the Catalan Center of Luxembourg will officially inaugurate the activities to celebrate its 25th anniversary. He will do it with an exceptional guest and with a high-level activity: a lecture by the Rector of the University of Luxembourg, Rolf Tarrach, the title: "Strengths and weaknesses of the University of Luxembourg compared to Catalan universities".
The event will take place on the day 6, at half past eight in the evening, local CCL (88, Rue de la Semois; Luxembourg-Ville). Admission is free.
R. Tarrach has been Rector of the University of Luxembourg since 2005, when he was expressly hired by the Ministry to develop what was then the Center Universitaire du Luxembourg. Among other professional merits, has been Professor of Theoretical Physics at the Universities of Valencia and Barcelona, where he has held numerous academic positions; worked at several universities (of Houston in Sant Petersburg) and has been advisory regarding scientific Generalitat of Catalonia and the Congress.
