Wednesday 4 February, at 21.30 al cinema Utopia, continuing with the 20th Cinema Series of the Catalan Center of Luxembourg, we invite you to the screening of the documentary Before that time will erase (2011).
This work by Mireia Ros, based on a book by Javier Baladia, is a chronicle in sepia of the Catalan high bourgeoisie of the beginning of the 20th century. Quite a walk, ironic, for Barcelona at the turn of the century, through the memories compiled by one of his descendants, which leads us to the golden age of a cosmopolitan and cultured elite.
This session will be very special because we will have the presence of the two screenwriters of the film: Javier Baladia i Victoria Bermejo. They will help us present the tape, they will answer your questions and maybe tell us something interesting about the shoot.
The next day, at 19 hours, lecture by Rolf Tarrach, Javier Baladia will give us a short conference on his book i, then, will demonstrate his qualities as a bolero singer.
