The day 11 September is celebrated the National Day of Catalonia, this year in the framework of the Tercentenary of the end of the War of Succession. For this reason, this 2014, the Catalan Center of Luxembourg organizes a series of activities around this anniversary to give this round anniversary the relief it deserves.
Therefore, the day 11, from the 19.15, we invite you to the Catalan Center premises (88, Rue de la Semois; Luxembourg ville) to a reception that will allow us to commemorate the Day. The act will be structured in several parts: a brief introduction, a recital and a glass of cava to toast. The recital will be performed by two Catalans resident in Luxembourg. The soprano Ruth Nabal and Maria Eulàlia Reverté on the bassoon will perform several musical pieces to make it more enjoyable (emotional) the evening.
The next activities of this week dedicated to the Day and the Tricentenary will be the conference of the writer Albert Sánchez Piñol (14 September) and the show "Damn poets" (15 September).
