Friday 16 in January 19 hours, al local (88, Rue de la Semois; L-2533 Luxembourg City), the Catalan Center hosts the meeting between two playwrights. Mon, Elias Barbera, was born in Xàtiva and lives in Barcelona. He is a theater author, poetry and narrative, in addition to actor. Some of his books are Screen-rates (and other vices), Balancer, Zoo, Active, Active, Where cranes nest, Blanquita's Magic Power and other stories and eyes, guts, cor.
The other author, Ian de Toffoli, he is luxembourgish. In addition to writing (theater, but not exclusively), works as a journalist and literary critic. He 2012 he founded (with Luc Schiltz and Pitt Simon) the Hydra editorial, dedicated to theatrical texts. Some of his works are The Announcement, The man who could no longer find his country and Microdrames. He is currently working, in addition, to University of Luxembourg.
This meeting with the public will take place in a wider framework: the collaboration of the Independent theater companies Little Lies (Luxembourg), Teatro Excelsior (Italy) and Theater of the Enjolit (Catalonia) in a European project that has resulted in three workshops dedicated to theatre (writing, performance and communication) i a theatrical play, 99%, written by Barberà and de Toffoli, which will be performed in Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg, Barcelona and Milan.
