Waiting for a guest who will welcome the month of June, the fourth year policy conference scheduled to take place Tuesday 14 abril of them 19.15 the local Catalan Centre (88, Rue de la Semois; Luxembourg ville). On this occasion it is Josep Huguet, president of the Josep Irla Foundation.
Josep Huguet and Biosca (Manresa, 1951), industrial engineer and graduate in Contemporary History, he began politics from the anti-Franco militancy. Member of the Catalan Assembly and the Call, he served in different political parties (PSAN, NO) until joining Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya on 1989. With this training he was elected deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia 1995. He later held several positions of responsibility, among them, two ministries of the Generalitat of Catalonia in two different periods: trade, Tourism and Consumption (2004-2006) and Innovation, Universities and Business (2006-2010). He currently presides over the Josep Irla Foundation, linked to ERC.
