The Weekend 15 to the 17 April is celebrated edition 2016 of Spring of Poets. With each any, this poetry festival will spread across Luxembourg verses from poets from all over Europe and beyond (Israel or Syria, per example) for three evenings, Friday and Saturday evenings, in addition to Sunday morning. The recitals will be in various settings: la Kulturfabrik d'Esch-sur-Alzette on Friday, Neimënster Abbey on Saturday and the Simoncini Gallery on Sunday.
As a Catalan representative, will have Mireia Calafell. Born in the year 1980 Barcelona, has published Poetics of the body (Galerada, 2006), Seams (Vienna Editions, 2010) and So many dumb (Peripheral editions, 2014) works for which he has received the Amadeu Oller poetry awards (2006), the VIII Anna Dodas Memorial (2008), Joseph M. López Picó of Poetry (2009), the Benvitto Oliver Poetry Prize (2014) and, to the 2015, the poetry collection the Golden Letter Award for So many dumb. His poems have been translated into several languages and published in different anthologies.
