Presentation of comics “Football” / “biliardino” with Alessio Spataro

We invite you on Tuesday 27 November, at 19 hours, at the presentation of a comic: Football (Spanish) O biliardino (in Italian).

Football, cover page

Learn the history of table football? So, in case you didn’t know, this universal game was invented in Catalonia, specifically in Montserrat. The inventor was Alexandre Campos Ramírez, also known as Alexandre de Fisterra. This editor, Galician writer and inventor had a life full of adventures. They haven’t dedicated it to him, yet, a movie (that he would deserve) but the Italian Alessio Spataro has dedicated a comic to him: Football, an illustrated homage to the game that entire generations have enjoyed for years around the world.

Alessio Spataro, Sicilian cartoonist and cartoonist, collaborates with many Italian media. He has published a dozen books, among them what we present on Tuesday and one dedicated to the Chilean singer Violeta Parra.

We organize this activity in collaboration with the Italian magazine Word of mouth. The conference will be in Italian (with translation if necessary) and you will be able to ask the questions in any language.
