This year we still don't know how we will celebrate Sant Jordi. For the moment, what we do know is that we will have literary contest and, just like last year, it will have two stages: national and european. This time we call for a narrative award with two categories:
- Curt: from 500 a 1000 words
- Llarg: from 1500 a 2500 words
The call is now open. Everyone can take part and any story in Catalan that conforms to the rules will be accepted. We will announce the winners on St. George's Day and the prizes, a batch of books for each category, they will be delivered when possible. Please read the rules carefully and send us the texts to our contact address: you have time until 8 d’abril.
On the other band, with other European centers, we have organized a competition between the winners of the literary competitions of Sant Jordi and floral games organized by each house, just like we did last year. Per tant, the winner of Luxembourg can aspire to win the European competition. We will soon announce the composition of the European jury, but we advance that they will be three prestigious writers, in addition to the prize for the winners.
Finally, we will know the winners of the European competition on Sunday 25 d’abril, day of Outer Catalonia.
