Description

The man who received the letter asks David Gurney for help, a policeman who, after twenty-five years of service, has retired in upstate New York. Both will urgently try to find the sender and will be embroiled in a sinister game, because what at first seemed like little more than blackmail ends up becoming a case of murder that, in addition, it is related to others that happened in the past. Gurney will have to discover if the criminal is able to read the minds of his victims and in what way. Only then can he devise a plan to catch the criminal.
