Wednesday 5 July, at 19 hours, Editorial Luxembourg ultimomondo Catalan Luxembourg and the Center presented the book Suicide Phoenix and other unlikely events, Maximus Serranos Soler (illustrations Luigi Mastroserio).
This collection of stories, presented in "preview" during the last Festival of Migrations, is the French version of the last title that the author published in Catalonia: Paramites (Ed. Emboscall, 2006). The stories that are part of the same idea all: tried to interrogate myths (classic, medieval or modern) moving them today to see if the archetype retains its validity. So there are governments that seek to take advantage of all kinds of soothsayers, stones with magical virtues, ladies improbable longevity and a phoenix with a curious obsession.

Besides the author (Catalan living in Luxembourg from 2002 and active member of the CCL), participate in the presentation the editor responsible for ultimomondo, Guy Rewenig (Luxembourgish writer), illustrator of the book, Luigi Mastroserio (Italian artist member of the CCL), and the two co-translators, Karine Albanti i Sophie Farreyrol.
After the ceremony, the CCL will offer a glass of champagne at present. Free entrance.
