10 March: stories in sign language (The Ginjoler)

Wednesday 10 March, Catalan Luxembourg Centre organizes different activities for children: stories told in sign language, Catalan. It will be at four in the afternoon, local CCL (88, Rue de la Semois; Luxembourg-Ville).

The idea was offered to us by the collection The Ginjoler, from the publishing house El Cep and Nansa. The books in this collection are stories aimed at children, with well-crafted drawings and a story, which include a DVD with the story told in sign language. They are not designed only for deaf children but for all children and also for adults, which explains their success. If you are interested, you can find more information on the collection's blog or on the publisher's page. remember, in addition, that you can find a couple of titles on loan at the CCL library.

Núria Amer will tell the stories, sign language teacher and interpreter, who has participated in the recording of some of the DVDs in the collection. In addition to keeping the baby entertained, he will tell us a few more things about this very interesting initiative and about Catalan sign language.

There will not only be stories: there will also be a snack. In order to organize ourselves well, write to us to register for the activity. Thanks.
