The Centre has encouraged Catalan Luxembourg, over the years, various Catalan language teaching activities aimed at children in Luxembourg living in different age groups. These activities have had various expressions (courses at the European School, theater groups, activities periescolars, etc.). Obviously the organization of these courses must be adapted to every age, depending on the number of students, the availability of families and, We buy, the arrival of many new Catalan-speaking or linguistically mixed families in Luxembourg in recent years.
The CCL has organized educational activities of the Catalan language for children from 1988. There is a teaching experience behind them and the teachers are competent and always ready to make this work. The work is based on the activation aware of language skills that have practical activities and entertainment, and to present, careful not to create interference on learning new languages learned at school. It is totally indifferent to the school system in which your children continue their studies (Luxembourg public school, European school, other).
That is why the Center wants to continue boosting Luxembourg Catalan Catalan classes for kids. For the year 2014/2015 we offer the following possibilities:
- Catalan language course (35 hours) for primary school boys and girls (they should be able to read) every Wednesday of 17.30 at 18.30 (Wednesday 10 September 2014 Wednesday 1 July 2015).
- Catalan language course (35 hours) for high school boys and girls every Wednesday of 18.35 at 19.35 (Wednesday 10 September 2014 Wednesday 1 July 2015).
The price of the course is € 210 per child and € 200 for each additional sibling. To carry out the course, we need to have a minimum of 5 Students enrolled for the course. The courses will be held in the premises of the Catalan Center (88, Rue de la Semois - Luxembourg city).

Language space for the little ones: as a prelude to Catalan classes, for the little ones who can't read yet and who can't sign up for language classes, we want to organize a children's language space every fortnight (Saturday morning from 11 a.m. 1). This activity is free (only material costs will be passed on) and, to be able to carry it out, we need the collaboration of volunteer parents.
