Wednesday 11 February, at 19.15 al cinema Utopia, we will close the 26th Cinema Series of the Catalan Center of Luxembourg with the screening of the film uncertain glory (2017), Agusti Villaronga.
Based on the masterpiece of Joan Sales, uncertain glory transports us to the front of Aragon 1937. Lluís (Marcel Borras), a young Republican official assigned to a temporarily inactive, meets a mysterious widow who falls, the Carlana (Nuria Prims), getting cajole it to falsify a document that becomes the lady of the region. Louis's best friend, the Soleràs (Oriol Pla), officer demoted, detecting fraud,, in exchange for not exposing it, demands that the bombing of Barcelona distancing his son and his wife, whom he is secretly in love. When Trini (Bruna Cusí) comes to town not long in discovering the betrayal of Louis and established between them a "state of war" that will shake all moral foundations.
