Wednesday 7 March, at 19 hours, in collaboration with Machado Circle and CEBE, we present Rolf Tarrach's lecture on "El buen saber". It will take place in the Foyer Européen in face-to-face format (following the CovidCheck protocol) and it will also be broadcast virtually.
With information technology and social networks, direct information, without intermediaries, it has experienced an explosion with which it has become ubiquitous. However, it remains of uneven quality and based more on conviction than evidence. However, quality information, controlled, based on analysis and reflection, has lost presence. And it's a shame, because it is what allows us to reach knowledge. It is essential to learn to distinguish them and Tarrach will give us some keys to do so.

L’friend Rolf Tarrach holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Barcelona, specialized in quantum field theory, elementary particle theory, quantum mechanics and quantum information theory. He was chancellor of the University of Luxembourg between the years 2005 and 2014.
