Wednesday 11 of February we present the concert d’Anna Amigo, which will be accompanied by a tasting of oils.
In the intermezzo of the concert we will taste the extra virgin olive oil from the last harvest of Organic Links. I, Members who have booked tickets for the Manel group concert, we will share a bread with tomato to round off the night.
Accompanied by her harp, Anna tells us and sings a series of stories, most of them with the woman as the central axis. Excerpts from the Catalan folk songbook, these songs that one day served to liven up the chores, now they take new paths. That's how, unlike the traditional song, that can repeat the same melody fifty times, Anna dramatizes every part of the story and creates new environments, harmonies and emotions. In this way, the character of the music explains what is really happening. The R-evolved Songbook and, at the same time, a show of musical evolution and female revolution to be heard with all the senses.
Some of you have already been able to discover Anna's music at CCL for a few years now. It was with the group Formiga and Cigale, of which she is violinist and composer. His piece "The song without lyrics" was nominated for the Enderrock Premis - Popular Vote 2016. She is also the author of the adaptations for Cobla of the Formiga and Cigale show. With the same duet, he has been able to participate in different festivals and concerts in different European countries. Highlights include the International Girl Harp Festivals (Galicia) in Dinan (Brittany). On the other band, performed solo at the aforementioned Noia Harp Fest with the show The R-evolved Songbook this past August 2022.
