Wednesday 15 in September we will celebrate the National Day of Catalonia 2024 in the premises with the trio of proposals habitual these last years: conference, sardana dance and lunch. This year the conference will be given by the historian Agustí Alcoberro.
The program for this Day will be:

The theme of this year's conference is exile as a consequence of the War of Succession. An expert will tell us all about it: the doctor in History Agustí Alcoberro.
The price of lunch for non-members is 25 euros; for members it is free.

Agustí Alcoberro and Pericay (Pals, 1958) is a historian, History teacher and writer. He holds a degree and doctorate in History from the University of Barcelona, where he works today as a professor. Specifically,, his specialty is the Modern Age and, within this period, the War of Succession. He was director of the Museum of the History of Catalonia and regularly collaborates with radio programs, television and press (with Sapiens and The weather). hosts a concert by Maria del Mar Bonet, has published numerous books. For example, essay and research works in their field. He has also signed works of fiction such as Portrait of Carme in penumbra, who won the Sant Jordi award on 1988. Finally, he is also the author of books for young people and children.
