Friday 6 February, at 18.30 to the Cinema Utopia, the sails will swell and the wind will take us: We'll see Apple and the one, the movie, In the framework of our XXXIII Cycle of Cinema. We will be accompanied by the director of the film and the executive producer of Dagoll Dagom.
Almost everyone knows the story of Blanca and Saïd, the two protagonists of the play Apple and the one by Ángel Guimerà, which the company Dagoll Dagom has turned into the Catalan musical with the most spectators. After years in theaters, with different distributions (where we find names like Àngels Gonyalons, Elena Gadel, Carmen Cuesta, Carlos Gramaje, Pep Cruz, Oscar But, Isabel Soriano, Alexia Pascual and Berta Luna), he 28 of November 2025 the movie was released.
Directed by Paulí Subirà, the film version of the musical was produced by TV3 and Dagoll Dagom, among others. It combines everything we love about the musical show with the cinematic language. It includes never-before-seen footage of the play and is filmed with high-quality sound and visuals that create an almost immersive experience.. The Vallès Symphony Orchestra performed the music, under the supervision of Albert Guinovart, author of the musical score.
In this projection we will have, in addition, two very interesting guests: Paulí Subirà and Anna Rosa Cisquella. Subirà is the director of Apple and the one, the movie. He started working at TV3 as a camera operator on 1987 and has been producer of numerous programs of the chain. With the film director, has worked with large formats and innovative technologies, per example, the documentary Enxaneta.
For its part, Anna Rosa Cisquella is the company's executive producer Dagoll Dagom. Degree in History and actress, joined Dagoll Dagom on 1977. L’any 1985 he left acting and went on to work in management, dramaturgy and the production of the company's shows. He directed the show Bye bye, Monster and is one of the managers of the Texas cinemas (theater, cinema room with projections exclusively in Catalan and cultural center). His work was recognized on 2021 with the Saint George's Cross.
