Published on 1975, leaves you, amor, the sea as pledge is an already classic title of the Catalan narrative of the 20th century. The stories that make it up feature characters outside of everyday "normalcy"., which could not or did not want to be assimilated by the conventions. It is perhaps because of the freedom that you can breathe there, together with the stylistic elaboration achieved by Carme Riera, that these stories have become a point of reference for thousands of readers. Carme Riera is one of the great ladies of Catalan literature. She is the author of a very long list of titles, starting with the volume of stories to which we will dedicate the meeting of 7 May.
