Silvio is a successful man. He has a company, diners, hello, a house in Barcelona, another house on the coast, a woman who leaves him free to have a lover, Claudia, with whom he lives a passionate affair. Claudia has a friend, Daniel, a young man who works in an art gallery and is married to Irina. This couple has settled into a routine that separates them more and more. Mariela is a South American immigrant who works for Silvio and his wife. her boyfriend, Jorge Washington, dream of a better life. All of these characters are wounded animals who lick their wounds when events take an unexpected turn.

Rock&Cat is a documentary about the outbreak of “Catalan rock” during the years 80. In that moment, for the first time, rock groups in Catalan know a real popular success, with great concerts, fan clubs and significant record sales. It is also, and above all, of a musical documentary and a portrait without nostalgia of an entire generation of very different musicians.

He 2 of March of the 1974, with Franco still in power, Salvador Puig Antich, young militant of the Iberian Liberation Movement (MIL), he was the last political prisoner executed by means of the "vile club" in Spain. The film reviews his story and the desperate struggle of his family, of his colleagues and lawyers to avoid its execution. This is not a simple nostalgic retrospective of an isolated historical event, local and anecdotal but of the life of a young man who deliberately chose to fight for freedom and bear the price, tragic and disproportionate, that he will have to pay. the story, in this sense, he will make a symbol of it.
All screenings take place in the cinema Utopia (Of. de la Faïencerie, Luxembourg Ville).
