Taking advantage of the National Day, on September 11 we will inaugurate the exhibition “Girona in 25 images – Relive Girona ».
This exhibition is based on the background of images of the Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board. The Diputació de Girona offers it to our Center to make this demarcation known in Luxembourg.
Nature, history, culture, art, sport. All this and more can be found in this small part of the country, between the sea and the mountain, between coastal plains and snow-capped peaks.
The monumentality of the old quarter of Girona and the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes coexists with the splendor of the botanical gardens of Santa Clotilde and Cap Roig. The tranquility and spirituality of the beech forest of Jordà and the sanctuary of Núria are rediscovered with the tranquility of the beaches of the coast and the Mediterranean character of its municipalities, with Cadaqués, Calella de Palafrugell, Tossa de Mar.. The strength of nature and its biological value are manifested in the lake of Banyoles, in the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park and in the Montgrí Natural Park, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter. And we can also admire the great imprint of Salvador Dalí in the Empordà, the castle of Peratallada and the Greco-Roman ruins of Empúries.
You can visit the exhibition “Girona in 25 images – Relive Girona ”on the premises for a month. It may be on Wednesday afternoons, during CCL activities or by requesting an appointment at our contact address.
