L’Choir of Montserrat will give a concert in Luxembourg Cathedral on the day 23 from May to six in the afternoon. This concert is an initiative of the Spanish Embassy in Luxembourg. Admission is free. No pre-booking: if you want to be sure to hear the choir, you must go to the Cathedral with enough time.
L’Choir of Montserrat is one of the best-known choirs in Catalonia. It is a choir of boys with white voices from the Monastery of Montserrat, where he sings daily. It is one of the most prestigious and oldest musical institutions in Europe. It was created in the 12th century under the protection of the Benedictine monastery on top of the mountain. It is made up of more than fifty boys, from nine to fourteen years, coming from all over Catalonia and also from the rest of the Catalan Countries. He will direct the choir, Llorenç Castellò.
