Conversation with Jordi Sullà Pascual on macroeconomics

Thursday 7 May, at 18 hours, we will talk to professor Jordi Sullà Pascual about the perspective macroeconomics of this crisis. Once again, we will do it through the Zoom application.

Professor Jordi Sullà will briefly compare this crisis with that of 2008, and will talk to us about public debt and fiscal policy in an understandable way but with an in-depth analysis of the data. Then, we will be able to ask questions and get answers about state budgets and the large-scale economic effects of the COVID-19 crisis. With everything, we will try to have a clearer idea of ​​what awaits us.

Jordi Sullà Pascual is director of the Superior Program in Asset Management, Degree in Economic Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (1976) and MBA d’ESADE (1982). EFPA European Financial Advisor, nº 24. He is also a member of the Spanish Institute of Financial Analysts and of the Board of Directors of EFPA Spain. In his extensive professional experience, the positions of Head of Asset Management at Banca Catalana and BBVA stand out. He is currently director of the Superior Program in Asset Management (PSP) and academic collaborator of the Institute of Financial Studies.
