Conversation on ecology with Salvador Lladó

Wednesday 13 from May to seven in the afternoon we will have a virtual conversation with the doctor in Microbiology Salvador Lladó. We will talk, via Zoom, of ecology and, more specifically, of the current climate emergency situation, coronavirus and the environmental aspects of this crisis.

This February, Lladó has published Bossa or life (Editorial Tigre de Paper), an essay in which he reflects on the ecological crisis by putting it in the perspective of the economic system that has caused it. He says that, when he published the book, not everything that would happen with COVID-19 was expected.

The coronavirus has upset this one economy, but how it has affected ecology? It is true that the source of the virus is the poor general condition of the environment? The new normal must include a new relationship with the environment?
